Live Music at Berkeley Green Park: Hang Tight

Where: Berkeley Green Park, Saranac Lake, NY

When: 6-8pm

The Downtown Music Series kicks off on Friday, July 8 with Hang Tight at Berkeley Green Park!  Join us from 6-8pm. Our live concerts this summer are completely free to the public!

Hang Tight is a band from Plattsburgh, New York, consisting of musicians that have been playing together for over 25 years. Their repertoire runs the gamut from Paul Simon to CCR; from Van Morrison to Joe Cocker; from Blues to Jazz to Rock & Roll. This show will focus on their more up-tempo tunes.

Hang Tight features:

  • Jay Lesage - a full-time, professional musician who trained at The Berklee Shool of Music in Boston and at SUNY Plattsburgh.
  • Jeff Rendinaro - a world class harmonica player who has played as a guest at the Montreal Jazz Festival among many other festivals and venues.
  • Dale Derusha - a sought-after bass player who has been in numerous bands over the past five decades.
  • Russ Hartung - a drummer who, over his 50-plus years of drumming, has played on albums for The Only Motions - recorded in Portland Maine; and for Pure Blue - recorded in Montreal.

This is a show that’ll put a smile on your face and is a perfect way to kick off your weekend. Stop by and dance for a while—or just sit back, soak up the mountain air, and tap your feet.

Join us after Hang Tight's performance in the Great Hall Bar from 8-10pm for the Stinky Boots String Band!
